About this Event
Come and enjoy a gentle meander through this ancient wood on one of the monthly walks from March to October led by our volunteer Celia.
We will be seeking out birds, butterflies, bees, trees and berries, flowering plants and perhaps spot deer, to name just a few of the species that inhabit this Site of Special Scientific Interest.
On this walk we will be paying particular attention to the plants, orchids and butterflies that live in Wayland Wood.
These walks are aimed at people who may not know much about wildlife, but would like to learn more. Celia won't have the answer to all your questions, but you can learn together.
Meet at the Wayland Wood car park before setting off for the walk.
