Visit Prairie Ridge for our next StoryWalk® featuring "Plants Can’t Sit Still" by Rebecca E. Hirsch and Mia Posada. Our story begins on the Forest Trail near our entrance gate and continues around Prairie Ridge as you learn about the ways plants move around! What fun plants can you find as you explore? StoryWalks® are self-guided trails intended to be completed at your own pace as you read each page of a book set up along a trail. Be sure to wear closed-toed shoes that can get muddy, appropriate dress for the weather, and bring a water bottle. Trails are mulch, dirt or grass and small hills are included — trail strollers or baby carriers are recommended for our smallest visitors. Bring a picnic and enjoy the day (please pack out your trash!).

The StoryWalk® Project was created by Anne Ferguson of Montpelier, VT and developed in collaboration with the Kellogg-Hubbard Library. StoryWalk® is a registered service mark owned by Ms. Ferguson.
