The Planting Justice El Sobrante Farmers Market will be the first-ever farmers market in El Sobrante, California, and one of the few, if not the only, markets in the United States primarily vended by QTBIPOC, women, and cooperatively owned businesses. We are excited to share the list of incredible farms, food businesses, artisans, and publishers joining us for our first and second markets.Starting April 21, the market will take place every Sunday from 10 AM to 2 PM at 5166 Sobrante Avenue, El Sobrante, California, right in front of our upcoming project, The Good Table. The Good Table will feature a pay-what-you-can café, bakery, plant nursery, community space, live music venue, and a farm and garden store. Hourly tours of the project will be available so you can see the work we’ve put in.
Come enjoy fresh seasonal organic produce, baked goods, prepared foods, and artisanal products, all while listening to the talented mariachi group Trio Sol De Mexico. We are also honored to partner with publishers like Haymarket Books, Chelsea Green Publishing, and Street Spirit News, who will be offering literature and zines that address today’s pressing issues.
Support QTBIPOC, women, and cooperatively owned businesses. We can’t wait to see you at the Planting Justice El Sobrante Farmers Market!
