Hashimukh Somaj Kallayan Songstha is going to celebrate its 10th year anniversary on May 8th. To mark this occasion, we are organizing a special event on May 10th and we would like to invite you to join us in our celebration. Established in 2014, Hashimukh Somaj Kallyan Songstha (HSKS) is a non-profit organization dedicated to the upliftment of underprivileged communities through five core programs: education, healthy meals, health and hygiene, IT training, and Art-crafting . Within the education program, Hashimukh currently serves over 400 children from disadvantaged communities. To date, 400 students under the auspices of Hashimukh have successfully completed secondary education, with an additional 1600 having accomplished primary education. Hashimukh has affected more than 100,000 people to date.
We're embarking on an extraordinary journey to mark our anniversary, one filled with progress, innovation and profound meaning. In the face of our planet's pressing environmental challenges, we've resolved to take action: planting 1000 trees throughout the month of May. We're starting with 50 trees in our school, office, and community spaces, nurturing green havens in the midst of urban life.
But our vision extends beyond just planting. We're empowering the next generation to nurture and protect our Earth. By distributing 25 plants among 25 dedicated children, we're instilling in them responsibility and empathy, teaching them firsthand the value of life and environment. Through their tender care, these plants will grow to thrive on farmland. A lesson in cultivation and compassion.
Our celebration isn't confined to the soil. We're weaving a tapestry of culture and joy, showcasing the vibrant hues of Bengali tradition. Through a cultural ceremony performed by our students, we're extending the magic of art and heritage to underprivileged children.
