DONATIONS: Programs are offered on a free-will donation basis, but participants are kindly requested to consider a $20/person minimum donation to support our mission, facilities & care for the wilderness. Those who are able to contribute help ensure that access to the healing power of nature is available to all.
DESCRIPTION: A hands-on workshop to learn about creating a garden, planting, & growing herbs. We'll share lunch/herbal tea & get our hands dirty, prepping beds, discussing soil composition & quality, companion plants, culinear & medicinal uses...
RECOMMENDATIONS: Bring snacks or a sandwich to enjoy with the herb lentil soup we prepare. Wear comfortable clothing & shoes that you don't mind getting dirty. Layers are suggested. Gloves & garden tools will be available, but feel free to bring your own if you have preferences.
