Approve and authorize the Parks and Recreation Department to accept a donation of 50 trees valued at $13,449 from Eco El Paso, which will be installed at the new All-Abilities Playground at Ascarate Park, pursuant to Texas Local Government Coded 81.032.
Background:
Eco El Paso desire is to support the efforts of El Paso County to plant additional trees in the County's parks for the benefit of the public. Eco El Paso is interested in investing a contribution of 50 trees valued at $13,449 to be planted in the new All-Abilities Playground at Ascarate Park. The trees would be selected based on the species recommended in the All-Abilities design plan.
