Join us for a 2-hour guided sound journey with gentle connection, deep listening, and nervous-system restoration. This experience weaves together the heart-opening qualities often associated with kanna plant or the calming, grounding presence of kava root, paired with a fully immersive crystal bowl and multi-instrumental sound bath.
Participants will be invited to connect with kanna or kava in a mindful way, with an emphasis on inner awareness and expansiveness. Dive deep into tonal vibration, drones, chimes, and song to create an enveloping soundscape that can encourage relaxation, connection with self, and promote deep self insight.
Sensory overload is a real thing, especially in our healing circles. We have to shut our eyes and decrease our sensory stimulation. So we want to quiet all the outside noise and bring in only the healing sound vibrations to give our systems a chance to recalibrate. This will be a mostly silent event. Throughout the journey you are welcome to lie down, meditate, journal, or simply receive. There is no requirement to “have an experience” — this space honors whatever arises.
This experience is open and welcoming to those who are simply curious about plant allies, as well as those who already have an established relationship with them. There is no expectation to “go deep,” have prior knowledge, or engage beyond what feels right for you. The emphasis is on gentleness, attunement, and listening to one’s own body and boundaries.
This journey may be supportive for people seeking:
• nervous-system regulation and deep rest
• relief from stress and mental busyness
• connection to body, breath, and heart
• community ritual and shared presence
Important notes:
*Participation is always optional at every step; you are your own best teacher. You are welcome to ingest or not to ingest any plants.
*Kanna and kava are not appropriate for everyone. Medical/psychological/medication consultation is not offered through this experience. If you are unsure whether or not you can ingest these plants, please make sure to ask your own health care practitioner for guidance ahead of time.
*This is not an educational event. We will not be diving in to information about the nervous system or herbology. It is your responsibility to click the links below and learn about the plants.
*This is not a psychedelic experience. Kanna and Kava are gentle herbal preparation to enhance heart opening and relaxation. These are considered completely over the counter plant medicines. They are both available in tea to purchase from a store.
