Do you have more cuttings and potted plants than you know what to do with? Don’t toss ‘em, swap ‘em! Bring your extra plants and trade with fellow plant people for some fresh new foliage. Light snacks and sips will be offered on the patio!To participate, the requirements are:
- Identify which plants you’d like to bring to the swap. You can bring a minimum of 10 plants and a maximum of 25.
- All plants should be disease/pest-free and identified (to the best of your ability). Don’t bring more than five of the same plants. Houseplants, succulents, and cacti are all welcome (except for Agave americana and Mother of Millions/Thousands.)
How it works:
- Upon arrival, you’ll be issued stickers proportional to the number of plants that you bring. Please note, smaller plants and cuttings will earn you fewer stickers than mature plants.
- Bid on Plants: Put stickers on a plant that you’re interested in; you can place up to three stickers per plant to increase your odds of winning the plant. If there are multiple bidders/stickers, the organizer will pull a name at random and announce the winner.
