Calling all plant lovers! North Myrtle Beach Parks & Recreation is hosting a spring plant swap. This is a free event open to the public. Bring any plants, cuttings, pots, and tools you are willing to part with and swap them for something new to you. Come ready to learn, share, and swap!There will be a designated "free" area for plants to be donated if you are not looking to swap with others and just need to condense down your collection or are wanting to share with others that may not have items to bring for the swap.
Please be sure to label all items you plan on bringing, with a name and any important care instructions others may need to know, to make the swap more friendly.
South Carolina Master Gardeners will be joining us with a short presentation at the start of the event about Planting for Pollinators, with tips on plants that benefit the environment and our pollinator friends, the bees and butterflies.
Our local NMB Garden Clubs will be present as well to conversate and answer questions about gardening, and have more information on some of the things they do to keep our City beautiful and club information if you are interested in becoming a part of their club.
