Join us in the Nicholson garden to sketch plants and improve your observation and plant identification skills! This free workshop is led by our Farmer-in-residence, Geo Edwards!
When walking on trails or in the garden, it’s quite common for a flower or leaf shape to grab your attention. Over the course of the year, gardens offer countless opportunities to witness the many faces and forms in nature. Sketching plants in the garden can be a relaxing, meditative practice and a great way to improve your observation and plant identification skills. In this workshop, we will cover basic plant anatomy and use pencils and watercolors to sketch plants growing in Nicholson’s garden.
