Our beautiful native plant nursery is a shared space tucked away in Tawatawa reserve. We aim to grow 3,000 native plants here every year to support restoration efforts in the Åwhiro catchment.Volunteer support is what runs this community, we need all the help we can get!
Join us as we search for, collect and sow native seeds, propagate native plants with a variety of methods, and care for this important shared community space.
Gloves, tools, and training will be provided.
We also provide free transport (please get in touch for availability and more info).
All we ask you to bring/wear are: sturdy boots/shoes, long sleeves, and long trousers, a full water bottle and lunch/snacks.
