Plant Powered Peorias Plantsgiving Potluck
Come join us for a festive Plantsgiving potluck at FFC's Life Together Center! This special gathering is the perfect chance to bring your favorite holiday-inspired, plant-powered dish to share with fellow food lovers.
For this event, we’re relaxing our usual guidelines: while we still discourage the use of prepackaged highly processed foods (Impossible, Beyond, Daiya, Vegenaise, etc.), we’re allowing dishes that include oil and minimally processed foods (think Boca/Gardein/Myokos, etc.) so you can do a practice run of recipes you might share with friends and family during the holidays. To help our oil-free friends, please clearly label your dish if it contains oil and/or minimally processed items.
***use your best judgement on prepackaged items but everything MUST remain free of animal products and animal byproducts (dairy/eggs/honey/etc).
Whether you’re a seasoned vegan cook or simply curious about plant-based eating, this event is for you! Come connect with like-minded individuals, swap recipes, and enjoy a wide variety of delicious and HEALTHY dishes in a fun, supportive community. Don’t forget to bring your own alcohol-free beverage.
