Join exhibiting artist Kija Lucas for a walkthrough of her artwork on view as part of the GROW! exhibition. Then, learn how the artist and floral designer Amanda Luu of Studio Mondine (a floral design studio rooted in fine art, design research, and event production) each approach composition, scale, and color in their work and learn basic "flower mechanics" before transforming plants and other materials into your own tabletop design!\

*In advance of the workshop, you are invited to consider a plant or flower that suggests “home” to you. If you wish, you can also clip and bring with you up to three sturdy, long stems from your garden for incorporating into your arrangement, which you can take home at the end of the workshop.
