Nutrition can be confusing! In this intermediate level class, we will discuss vitamins, minerals, and phytonutrients. We will also discuss organic and non-GMO foods, superfoods, the dirty dozen, and the clean fifteen. Learn how easy it is to achieve optimum nutrition through a plant-based diet. We will discuss the findings of several fascinating studies done on plant-based nutrition. While there is no prerequisite, students may find it beneficial to take Nutrition 101 before taking this class.
