Nonprofit fundraising is the ongoing process of soliciting donations or voluntary funds to help the organization grow and meet the needs of the community served. Our nonprofit charity organization is hosting a plant and flower fundraising event on Saturday January 18 2025 from 11:30pm–3:30pm at the Norcross Cultural Arts and Community Center. The proceeds will be used to help fund the Write-Right Nutrition Program (Hunger Relief Program). All purchases are a tax write-off. Free catered lunch from Carrabba’s Italian Grill restaurant will be served to anyone who makes a 2-plant purchase (Buy 2 and get 1 free specials). We decided to switch restaurants to Carrabba’s Italian Grill after the flyer was published. Vegetarian meal options will be available. This is a kid friendly event so bring the kiddos and the family.
Plant selections include but not limited to the following Esqueleto Monstera Silver Dragon Alocasia Little Swiss Monstera Moonlight Scindapsus Raven ZZ Baltic Blue Pothos Peru Monstera Pink princess philodendron Calathea plant Alocasia jacklyn Geogenanthus (rare) Prayer plant philodendrons Zamioculcas Snake plant Money tree Peace lily Lucky bamboo Anthurium and array of other plants. Plants range from $15 to $45 each depending on selection and size.
