Plant a Tree Day 2025 - Hosted by LF1 Forest Committee

On Saturday, September 27 from 10am to Noon your Forest Committee is hosting a tree planting event:

Our second annual Plant a Tree Day 2025. We are dedicated to giving back to the environment and strengthening our community roots. Be a part of the effort to improve our beautiful forest.

• Sponsorships are available for $75. Your generous donation helps defer costs to maintain the new trees with regular watering and care until established.
• You are welcome to help plant your new tree during the event, but we are happy to do it for you as well. Bring your gloves, we have all the tools.
• All Tree sponsors will receive a certificate commemorating your generosity and a tree tag and metal marker will be placed with your name.

Come out and plant a tree with us! (Ridge Route & Winterwood)

All are invited to participate and support our efforts.

• With your help, we are planting 40 trees in tract 6353 at the corner of Ridge Route and Winterwood.

• Kids craft projects will be hosted by the Lake Forest Garden Club with assistance from Girl Scout Troop # 1525.

• Just want to support the cause? There is also an option to help us with donations in $25 dollar increments.
