Join Plano Civic Chorus as they celebrate the final concert and culminating celebration of their 50th season! In honor of this milestone, PCC has commissioned a major work by Bob Chilcott, an internationally recognized English composer, who will be in attendance to conduct this special premiere. PCC is deeply honored that Mr. Chilcott accepted our invitation for this important commission and we are delighted to present him as our guest artist for this highly anticipated celebration concert. The event will also feature the 50th Anniversary Alumni Chorus, composed of members from seasons past who are rejoining us for this monumental celebration.
This concert will also be the last of Ralph Stannard’s distinguished 23 season tenure as PCC’s Artistic Director. The scope of this concert will be a fitting tribute to both Plano Civic Chorus and to everything Mr. Stannard has done for it over almost half its existence.
