Join APA Oklahoma for Planners on Tap, a monthly happy hour event to socialize with fellow community planners and advocates across Oklahoma. Each session will feature a conversational Q&A with a planner doing great work in the state.
This month's featured guest is Chip Nolen. Chip is the Planning Manager at EMBARK, where he leads long- and short-range transit planning, including bus schedules and routes, scenario planning, and service adjustments. With nearly a decade at EMBARK, Chip has played a key role in major projects like the launch of RAPID NW, OKC’s first bus rapid transit route, and the OKC Moves initiative, a Comprehensive Operational Analysis (COA) for the EMBARK transit system. He holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Oklahoma and a Master degree in Public Administration from the University of Central Oklahoma. Chip is passionate about improving mobility in Oklahoma City.
