Pre-Requisite: intermediate to advanced experience using exocad or other CAD/CAM dental design software.
Course Description
Take your implant planning workflow to the next level. This course offers a hands-on, approach to using exoplan’s automation features, from single-unit cases to full-arch treatments. Participants will learn how to navigate the exoplan interface, plan implants with anatomical precision, and create fully customized surgical guides tailored to each patient’s needs, including immediate loading.
Course Objectives
- Set up digital cases efficiently with structured case entry and configuration workflows
- Plan single-unit restorations using DentalCAD for optimal implant and prosthetic outcomes
- Design precise surgical guides to support implant placement using integrated tools
- Apply immediate loading protocols to accelerate patient treatment timelines
- Enhance esthetic planning with the Smile Creator integration
- Implement multi-implant planning for complex restorations and full-arch treatments
- Utilize the dual scan protocol for accurate matching of prosthetic designs to patient anatomy
- Design and prepare surgical guides for 3D printing using exoprint to streamline chairside workflows
Agenda
Morning Session 9:00 – 12:00 – case setup with exoplan and DentalCAD, single unit to surgical guide planning, immediate loading, rapid pre-planning.
Afternoon Session 1:00 – 5:00 – Smile Creator case, converting to exoplan, complete dual scan protocol, planning and surgical guide design, immediate loading and export to integrated 3D printer using exoprint.
