We are extremely excited to announce this amazing event our firm is hosting that is happening on November 23rd 2024 at the Moose Lodge in Orillia. The number of suicides amongst First Responders has continued to rise. First Responders covers a lot of people. Police, Fire, Paramedics, Nurses, Military, Corrections, Dispatch, Victim Services, Social Workers, etc.
We are hoping to raise money at this event to help make a difference so that those who struggle do not become a grim statistic as they had not had the resources to succeed.
By supporting this awesome night of drinks, food, dancing with a DJ on site, great food, 50/50 tickets and a myriad of amazing donations from our contributors - raffles of experiences to unwind and have fun. We want to hope that we can be a small difference in a healing journey towards healing and lowering the stats that are frightening.
Boots on the Ground Peer Mentoring Support and Badge of Life Canada are priceless resources that help First Reaponders no matter where they are from get the help they need while leaving the stigma behind. We want to see them continue with that without hesitation.
And wear your best plaid ! Dress it up, dress it down (not too informal please) and come have a night that is full of fun and doing good in the community.
