About this Event
Mark your calendars and spend the evening with Peerless Rockville Historic Preservation as we celebrate 50 years of education, preservation and partnerships! We invite the public to join us for a Places Saved Weekend this October 4th & 5th with special events and open hours at some of Rockville’s most iconic historic places.
Spend an evening at the Historic Rockville B&O Railroad Station for a Happy Hour with History. Enjoy this unique opportunity to tour this historic building, adapted as elegant office space. The building was slated for demolition when the Metro came to town in 1983. With community support Peerless Rockville helped to save the building, seeing it moved to a new location where it was lovingly restored and converted to office space. The evening will feature live music, food, and drinks from Twin Valley Distillery [Cash Bar]. Special thanks to the Law Firm of Gill Sipple & Gallagher, PGA Design Build, and Twin Valley Distillery for partnering with us on this event.
Peerless Rockville Historic Preservation Ltd. is supported in part by a grant from the City of Rockville and funding from the Montgomery County Government and the Arts & Humanities Council of Montgomery County.
