About this Event
Mark your calendars and spend some time with Peerless Rockville Historic Preservation as we celebrate 50 years of education, preservation and partnerships!
On Saturday, October 5 jon us between 10 am - 4 pm to Visit, See, and Explore Rockville in our "History Treasures Tour". This one-of-a-kind self-paced tour guides participants to different locations in Rockville, with the chance to experience open hours with hosted visits at select times. Visit a model Railroad at the B&O Railroad Station, tour the inside of Frieda's cottage, see the old soda fountain at the Public Library, and more. Many of these sites are not usually open to the public, so this tour is your chance to satisfy your curiosity! The event includes family-friendly activities for all ages.
After registration participants will receive a list of locations and a schedule of events. On the day of the event, participants will pick up their registration packets at one of two locations, then it's off to have fun! Choose the sites you want to visit, and plan which activities you want to view. This is a chance for people of all ages to come and visit some of Rockville's iconic sites.
Peerless Rockville Historic Preservation Ltd. is supported in part by a grant from the City of Rockville and funding from the Montgomery County Government and the Arts & Humanities Council of Montgomery County.
