What IS Polka Dot?Polka Dot Powerhouse is an amazing, totally unique Connection Company. Polka Dot Powerhouse is a worldwide community of positive, purpose-driven women in every stage of life who are committed to connection, collaboration and celebration.
We are a community of women who empower and cheer each other on, and we love to see each other hit our goals! We encourage members to support each other while building lifelong friends and business relationships.
We are a drama-free, smart, creative, resourceful, and, most importantly, positive group of professional women, entrepreneurs, new business owners, seasoned business owners, non-profits, non business owners, stay at home moms, empty nesters, or retirees.
Our Monthly Lunch & Business Connection Meetings: 3rd Friday, from 11:30 am - 1:30 pm.
Arrive by 11:00 to find parking, connect with members, grab a name tag, seat and place your lunch order. The restaurant isn't technically open till 11:30 but you can come in their patio door.
LOCATION: The Monk's Cellar, downtown Roseville, located at 240 Vernon St. There is some street parking but also a large parking garage behind some buildings right across the street from this restaurant. No fee to attend as a member or guest (one time only), but please support our venue by buying your own lunch and drink (there are various options on our private menu for $20). Sometimes it's a bit chilly inside, wear layers.
We provide a table for marketing materials, guests and members are welcome to bring one item to place on the table plus business cards to showcase your offerings and business.
Please attempt to always be on time and try not to leave early if possible or you might miss part of our meeting/agenda and connection opportunities. We are excited to get to know you! If you register but can no longer attend, please let Katrina know so we can cancel your registration as there are limited seats at our meetings and we want to open it up for others.
Our Meeting Agenda:
Introductions (30-60 seconds each) – Everyone shares who you are, what you do for business/work in one sentence, why you’re here or how long you’ve been a member if you’re a member. There is time for sharing more about what you sell/offer later in the agenda. If you do not have a business, share what passions or hobbies you have.
Celebrations – Everyone shares something they're celebrating, personal or professional. Welcome guests, and New & Renewing Members receiving their pins.
Inspire Award – To keep the celebrations going, we award our Inspire Award to a different DOT sister each month!
Collaborations and Connects – We ask a few members to share recent DOT sister collaborations or connects you have had both locally & globally.
Speaker (20 min, Topics vary each month)
We end with- What New Events, Products, Services, Passions do you have going on in your business, or life? You can share briefly things you’re excited about, plus you can make offers, or share invitations to events, etc. (30 sec max) No passing of materials during the meeting. If people are interested, they will approach you afterwards and/or ask to do a “Connect” with you. You may however put any flyers, cards, etc. on the “marketing table”. If you don’t have a business, share what you’re passionate about, some hobbies and other fun details about yourself! *If you have an ASK, something you need, this is the place to also ask here.
