Join The Rollout 6pm 'till past sundown at Pizzey Park Sk8 Park & Pump Track in Miami! This is a permanent recurring event every 2nd Monday.This world-class and newly refurbished/extended skate park, also features Australia’s largest asphalt pump track!
PLEASE NOTE: Register your attendance on the Facebook event so we are able to notify you of any change/cancellation to the event due to weather.
We're mainly on roller skates and inline blades, but scooters, skateboards, & BMX are welcome! Doesn't matter your age, we're all ages from kids, to adults and oldies! There will be experienced skilled park skaters on blades and quad rollerskates attending, including people known from Insta and TikTok to the GC skate community; but this is NOT a Learn to Skate class - you must be able to roll and stop confidently. Our friendly attendees will be happy to give you tips, but not coach you.
WHEN: 6pm Monday 'till past sundown.
WHERE: Pizzey Sk8 Park is at the end of Sonia Street in Miami QLD 4220. We will start at the Sk8 Park, and alternate with the adjacent Pump Track.
PRICE: Free!
ABOUT US: Gold Coast Rollout is a network of many thousands of skaters from Brisbane to Byron, that roller skate/blade for fun or professionally, across all skate disciplines (dance/jam/rhythm skating, roller derby, figure skating, speed skating, trick/slalom, aggressive skating, etc). We share tips & arrange skate meet-ups including our main community skates each Sunday and Monday...Our admins include top skaters across disciplines in a voluntary community spirit promoting skating; doing it so we practice & learn together for free & for fun.
