Depart for Trax Farm in Pittsburgh, at this over 150 year old farm visit the Greenhouse, Home & Gift shop, Garden Shop, Bakery, Wine & Beer shops, Antique Loft and enjoy lunch at the Deli "on your own". Later you will depart for your hotel-check in and freshen up for dinner. Afterwards, you will visit the Botanical Gardens Dazzling Nights. Nearly 65 acres of gardens and woodlands, providing several miles of festivities! Take a journey through 2,000 illuminated flowers as they dance across a field and bask in the warm glow of dozens of handmade lanterns hanging from the treetops.
Wednesday 12/4/24
After breakfast at the hotel you will enjoy a tour of Acrisure Stadium, home to the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Pitt Panthers. Then a visit to the Strip District, where you will find shops and restaurants with Pittsburgh favorites to enjoy "on your own". Next you will go to the Heinz History Center, as Pittsburgh’s people museum, the center preserves and interprets the history of Western Pennsylvanians through six floors of interactive exhibitions that feature iconic artifacts like the TV set from Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood and the world’s oldest jeep. Tonight enjoy a family style dinner before a visit to Phipps Conservatory for their Winter Flower Show and Light Gardens with an exciting Festival of Trees theme makes holiday trees the centerpiece of Phipps’ winter wonderland.
Thursday 12/5/24
After breakfast this morning, you will continue with the Heinz family, enjoying a guided tour of the Heinz Chapel. A quick walk across the lawn takes you to the Cathedral of Learning where you will enjoy a guided tour of the Nationality Rooms. This group of active classrooms at the University of Pittsburgh depicts the national and ethnic groups that helped build the city of Pittsburgh. Take some time to grab a bite for lunch at the Federal Food Hall before visiting the Carnegie Museum of Art, here you can enjoy the annual Carnegie Trees, towering evergreens , each lit to perfection and trimmed with holiday baubles. Tonight you will enjoy dinner at the Church Brew Works, a beautifully resorted church to house this unique restaurant.Followed by Tour with a step on guide from the comfort of your coach you will take a "City Lights" tour. Pittsburgh has many beautiful holiday lights displays.

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before we check out. Before we depart Pittsburgh we’ll visit a staple, The National Aviary, home to more than 500 birds and mammals representing species from around the world. Explore walk-through habitats where birds fly freely around you, and a sloth can be spotted in the trees. Get up close to a colony of adorable penguins, see mysterious owls, and be amazed by the impressive 10-foot wingspan of the Andean Condors. Next an included lunch at a Pittsburgh favorite, followed by a visit to Clayton House at the Frick Museum, this meticulously preserved 23-room mansion reveals the lifestyle of a prominent, wealthy family who lived in Pittsburgh at the height of the city’s cultural and economic importance. We’ll then depart for home with a rest and dinner stop en route "on your own"🎄
