Join us for our most cherished legacy event and kick-off of our resumed activity with a delightful picnic at our favorite little Chateau in Portland. This is a free event but you have to pay to park.Costume is admired, but not required. Regency costume is the norm, however we won't fault you for time-traveling into different eras.
If you have never joined us before, and you don't know what to bring or do, this is what we say: Just come. Even if you don't know anyone. This is the most welcoming, and kind group of people you will ever meet.
You can bring nothing but yourself, or you may bring the works.
- A chair and table, or a lawn blanket.
- A picnic for you to enjoy
- A bonnet or hat to shade your eyes.
- A parasol for promenading.
- Period games like Graces, Blind-Man's-Bluff, Petanque, Battledore or Shuttlecock.
- Bring your children to this delightful family event -- allow this to be the event where you can make them adorable little costumes!
