Pitch Tuesday #2

Welcome to Pitch Tuesday, where we’ll help you serve up a pitch that’s tight, tasty, and unforgettable! Inspired by , this event is all about getting the right mix of ingredients into your pitch— just like a taco! When things don’t fit, they spill out, and the whole thing falls apart. Pitch Tuesday is your opportunity to make sure your pitch holds together, hits the mark, and leaves a lasting impression.

Concept & Goals: In scheduled 30-minute sessions, two teams (15 min each) step out of their comfort zone and go all-in with pitching. We’ll help you wrap your ideas up in a way that’s clear and convincing. If there’s an ingredient that doesn’t work, we’ll spot it and adjust it together to bring the maximum impact out of your pitch.

• Coaching: Each team is coached with direct guidance to make their message pop.
• Peer feedback: Get an honest and external perspective from the other "winning" team—it’s a chance to see how your pitch impacts your listeners.
• Real-time tweaks: You’ll have a chance to adjust and improve on the spot, making your learning curve sharply go up.
• Punctuality & Organisation: Be sure to arrive at least 5 min before your session to ensure a smooth process.
  

• Instant feedback: Practical advice from coaches and peers helps you see what’s working—and what’s not.
• Learn by doing: Get fresh ideas by watching and working with others.
• Confidence boost: Pitching in a supportive space gives you the guts to go bold and the insights to go smart.
• Low-hanging fruits: It doesn't take much to lose yourself in your area. Strengthen your skills by validating your pitch before you enter the stage.
  

1. Brave zone: Step out of your comfort zone and enter the "Brave Zone". A Zone where you will feel friction and start to grow!
2. Respect each other’s ideas: Feedback should be honest, helpful, and constructive. Listen closely and be thoughtful.
3. Go with the Flow: Every pitch can be refined, so be ready to change things up.
4. Celebrate wins: When your pitch wraps up tight like a taco that holds, everyone celebrates! So follow up with your coach and peers after you nail your pitch on stage!

• The first 5 minutes of the slot will be reserved for your pitch. We recommend to work on pitches that do not exceed the 3-minute length.
• For the next 10 minutes, your Coach and the second team take over by giving you feedback and asking questions about your pitch and everything
• The remaining 15 minutes are (if given) reserved for the second team/pitch attending the slot. If only one team is present, you get an extended feedback session due to the peer feedback missing.

"Whoops!" is what I said when half of my taco filling fell out. I had to say goodbye to my white shirt, which had been messed up.
