Give a little love back to the community where you live and share the responsibility of caring for the land by picking up trash with your neighbours.
Pitch-In Picton is a monthly, one-hour, mini trash-bash meets plant walk meets local history tour. From April to October, Feral Folc and the Picton BIA are committed to wandering the mean streets of Picton in a search for trash and other community clean-up opportunities.

- the resources -
Thanks to the Picton BIA, all garbage and recycling bags, gloves, hand-sanitizer, bag tags, and snacks are supplied. We will ensure that all the waste collected is properly disposed of.
Just bring yourself dressed to be outdoors rain or shine and safely pick up garbage - you may wish to bring your own supplies, wagon, or pick up sticks.
- the details -
Meet us at outside the Picton BIA office (at the Regent Theatre) for 6pm. We'll walk together to the designated street(s)/location(s) for pick-up that month.
April | It's Earth Day! All the trash of 2024 that was tucked beneath the snow has risen (and been buried in snow, and risen again several times now) and is ready for the picking. We'll do a proper walk of Main Street up to the LCBO and back if we can.
If weather conditions make it unsafe to Pitch-In we will postpone to the following Tuesday, and update over our social media channels.
If you’re late or lost you can text Becky at 613-503-1309
