Melton RSL Sub-Branch, in partnership with RSL Active and the Melton Pistol Club, is proud to invite eligible veterans and first responders to take part in a Pistol Shooting Open Day.
This introductory experience provides veterans with the opportunity to try pistol shooting in a safe, controlled environment, with no firearms licence required.

Due to strict safety requirements at the Melton Pistol Club, participation is limited to 10 veterans only.

Registration does not guarantee a place. All registrations received will be entered into a random draw.
📌 Key Details
• The random draw will take place on 11 January 2026
• Successful applicants will be notified via email and must RSVP to confirm attendance
• Failure to RSVP will result in the spot being reallocated
• No cost to participate
• BBQ lunch provided after the shooting activities
• Participants must arrange their own transport
• No alcohol is to be consumed before or during the event
✅ Eligibility
This event is open to eligible RSL Active participants. Membership or Affiliation to the League or the Melton RSL Sub-Branch is not a requirement.
Participants must:
• Be an eligible veteran or first responder under RSL Active guidelines, &,
• Not be a “Prohibited Person” under the Firearms Act 1996 (VIC).
We look forward to delivering a safe, engaging, and enjoyable experience for our veteran community.
