During this 4 hour course, firearms safety will be stressed and fundamentals will be reviewed and tried. This will have lots of hands-on training with various dry fire drills prior to going to live fire drills. We will reinforce the basic gun fundamentals, from Proper grip, proper stance, proper sight picture and alignment to loading and firing your handgun, clearing malfunctions and more. You should expect to shoot AROUND 100+ rounds depending on comfort level. NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED!
Items needed for course:
Handgun - Semi automatic or revolver (If you currently do not own a handgun and need help, let me know ASAP)
Holster : inside or outside the waist - Purse with gun holster or Fannie Pack will work
100 - 200 rounds of Ammunition to match your pistol
2 magazines (Minimum)
1 magazine holster
Extra Batteries for your Ear Protection if electronic
Extra batteries for your Red dot if applicable.
Eye protection: Sunglasses or Regular Glasses are fine
Sturdy Belt - Preferably a Carry belt but not a must
Closed toe shoes
Additional Items Recommended:
Water and snacks
Rain Jacket as we train regardless of weather so dress accordingly
Bug spray: it is Florida and bugs are out.
Hat, or umbrella (the sun can be brutal)
Foldable Chair
