The superb Brixham Pirate Festival is one of the biggest pirate gatherings in the world, with thousands of people descending from all over the world for a long weekend of swashbuckling fun and seaside shenanigans set against the authentic backdrop of the historic port.Piratitude play rousing, rootsy, roof-raisers, with sea shanties and singalong folk favourites, plus some affectionate reinventions of classic tunes, and our own original pirate material. Songs of the sea, of love, loss, travel, transportation, rum, voyages, battles, bravery, and the joys of drinking.
We'll update with details of where and when we'll be playing for any of our crew who are planning to attend this year - but we'll be in circulation all weekend, playing on the main stage, and elsewhere. Look out for them ugly pirate babies!
