AUDITION NOTICE: Music & More OnStage Players Troupe in partnership with Music & More Family Theater is excited to announce auditions for the Gilbert & Sullivan operetta "Pirates of Penzance" Thursday, October 2nd & 9th 4:30 - 6:00 pm for actor/singers ages 12 - 18 and adults. Please prepare a monologue and an audition song no longer than 16 bars. Sides and musical excerpts from the show will be provided for the callbacks. Resumes are not required but appreciated. Class fee for students is $85/mo with a $100 Show fee. British operettas are very similar to modern musicals like Les Miserable or Hamilton because the score can be sung by amateur singers and some of the dialogue is sung rather than spoken.
