The Federal Election is fast approaching this year, and comes at an unprecedented time in Australia’s history. Imbalance in global alliances and growing political polarisation serve as uncertain backdrops to continued cost-of-living pressures and domestic challenges. This Election will undoubtedly be critical in setting Australia's path into the 2030s. The University of Adelaide Politics and International Relations Association (PIRA) is proud to be hosting its Federal Election Forum on Thursday 3 April 2025, to give the university and broader community an opportunity to hear directly from Labor, Liberal, Greens and minor party candidates about policy areas affecting young people.
PIRA is proud to be supporting our communities in making an informed vote at the next Federal Election. PIRA looks forward to welcoming attendees for an insightful discussion, focusing particularly on key issues facing young people aged 25 and under and the broader context of this year's election.
The event will be hosted in the Braggs Lecture Theatre, at the University of Adelaide (North Terrace Campus). Tickets are free, but RSVP is required.
The event will commence at 6:00pm and conclude at approximately 7:30pm.
The event will not be live-streamed. Speakers will be announced soon.
