About this Event
This concert includes French music (by Lili Boulanger, Jules Mouquet and Gabriel Fauré - all active in France at the turn of the twentieth century), an 18c sonata by Michel Blavet played on baroque flute with harpsichord and bass viol accompanying; and recent music by Élise Bertrand and Megan O'Hanlon with first performances of pieces by Roland Mumford and Andrew Wilson-Dickson. Daisy Jones joins Catherine to end the concert with Fauré's Fantaisie op79 arranged by Marcel Moyse for two flutes!
Parking is available in the Harvey Street car park almost opposite the church (take the turning to the north next to the pedestrian lights). If you see the Post Office (on the north side of Cowbridge Road East) or the Co-op supermarket (on the south side) you are very very close!
Refreshments (tea/coffee and cakes) are provided after the concert, at about 4pm. A CD by Catherine and Andrew will be on sale!
