In celebration of World Bagpipe Day 2025, the Stevenson-Hamilton Pipe Band would like to invite pipers from all around the world, to join them for PIPES On The ROCKS 2025, or POTR25 if you prefer.The event will take the same basic format of the inaugural event held in the Year of Our Lord, 2024.
Namely, a well publicised, on social media anyway, casual gathering of pipers standing on rocks around the starting-point of the Kaapschehoop Hiking Trail, in the picturesque Escarpment Town of Kaapschehoop.
We will furnish details of accommodation options available as we continue to unfold the planning for this prestigious event.
We are currently looking at hosting at least 500 pipers at the event.
