About this Event
You’ll feel the glorious surround-sound power of more than 8,000 pipes when Trinity Assistant Organist Alcée Chriss III takes the helm of the church’s historic new organ. Renowned for reimagining the instrument’s possibilities, Chriss displays a virtuosic depth and unparalleled versatility that puts him in high demand as a soloist in venues across the country. He will demonstrate that range — and the tremendous capacity of the organ — as he performs movements from Sergei Rachmaninoff’s Symphonic Dances, Johann Sebastian Bach’s Toccata in D Minor, Max Reger’s Fantasy and Fugue on B-A-C-H, and his own jazz and gospel improvisations.
Registration for this free event is highly recommended as seating is limited.
We suggest arriving 45 minutes before start time. Admission is first-come, first-served, with ticket holders receiving priority (although not guaranteed entrance if the venue reaches capacity).
