David di Fiore, originally from Seattle, is professor of organ, improvisation, and choral conducting at the Catholic University in Ruzomberok, Slovak Republic. He has recorded and performed at major cathedrals and concert festivals throughout Europe, North America, and Latin America, and is famous for his colorful, dazzling and innovative musical performances.Featuring a menu of J.S. Bach, César Franck and others, with Noel Rawsthorne's Hornpipe Humoresque for "dessert," this uplifting program will showcase Trinity episcopal Church's 3-manual Balcom and Vaughan/Bosman organ, the second largest in Everett. The performance takes place in the church sanctuary, and there will be a video screen in the front of the nave so all may view Maestro di Fiore's performance close up.
Admission is by freewill offerings that will be used to support the Trinity Choir in their upcoming travel to sing Handel's Messiah at Carnegie Hall on December 1, 2024. Most importantly, we look forward to hosting this marvelous organ concert and welcoming the community at large to attend and enjoy.
The a light reception of wine and cheese will follow the concert, and free childcare will be provided.
Parking is available in the Trinity parking lot located one house south of the church on Hoyt Ave. Street parking is also available. The church is located at 2301 Hoyt Ave, Everett, WA 98201.
