Pioneers in Cosmetic Science: Hair Lab with BWICC x TRI-K Industries

Step out of the theory and into the laboratory! BWICC has partnered with TRI-K Industries, Inc., a global leader in sustainable specialty ingredients, to bring our members an exclusive, hands-on technical immersion.

This is a deep dive into the science of hair damage and the cutting-edge technologies used to repair it. Designed specifically for members looking to strengthen their technical confidence, this session provides practical lab exposure that you can apply immediately to your career.

To ensure an intimate, hands-on experience, attendees will be split into two technical tracks. Both groups will join together for a networking lunch.

10:00 AM – 12:00 PM | Technical Session I

• Group A: Deep-Dive Presentations (EverBond® , DensiFoll™, and NaturePep® Amaranth).
• Group B: In-Lab Formulation & Testing (NaturePep® Amaranth Formulation).

12:00 PM – 1:00 PM | Networking Lunch (Provided)

1:00 PM – 3:00 PM | Technical Session II

• Group A: In-Lab Formulation & Testing (NaturePep® Amaranth Forrmulation).
• Group B: Deep-Dive Presentations (EverBond®, DensiFoll™, and NaturePep® Amaranth).

During the laboratory session, you will get hands-on with a NaturePep® Amaranth formulation. We will go beyond the beaker to showcase the formulation’s efficacy using advanced hair science analytics:

• SEM Imaging: View high-resolution Scanning Electron Microscopy to see structural changes in the hair fiber.
• Samba Testing: Analyze hair shine and luster through state-of-the-art visual equipment.
