You are invited to attend the Rukuhia Open Day on the 20th of February at the Rukuhia Research Station (enter via end of Middle Road, Hamilton 3282 – see map below). This event will feature information on the latest developments and best practices in maize growing. Attendees will have the opportunity to network with fellow farmers and the Pioneer team and to learn about new technologies and techniques that can help increase silage and grain yields.We will be discussing a range of topics including, new hybrids and their characteristics; the effect of different maize planting populations; farm systems developments, and the effect of tillage methods on yield, soil characteristics and the environment.
The event will begin at 10am and there will be different stations for you to choose from and work your way around. Lunch, coffee, and light refreshments will be served throughout the day.
