Stewart Rhodes—a U.S. Army paratrooper and disabled veteran—is also a Yale Law graduate who clerked for the Arizona Supreme Court and served on the staff of Congressman Ron Paul. He went on to found Oath Keepers, an organization of more than 40,000 members from the military, law enforcement, fire, and EMS communities, dedicated to defending the Constitution. In the aftermath of January 6, Stewart was prosecuted not for entering the Capitol or clashing with police—he did neither—but for his speech and his loyalty to President Trump. He endured three years in prison, including a year in solitary confinement, until his sentence was commuted by President Trump on January 20, 2025.
Today, Stewart serves as national spokesman for Condemned USA, where he continues his fight to defend political prisoners and stand against government abuse.
