About this Event
Step into the vibrant world of Dominican carnival! 🎭Join The Muse Gallery Inc. for a hands-on mask-painting workshop inspired by the iconic Lechón masks of Santiago. Led by Dominican artist Rubén Darío, this event invites participants of all ages to paint, decorate, and take home their own mask — while learning the history and cultural significance behind this colorful tradition.
Each guest will receive two mini masks (smoothed horn & spiked horn) as their personal canvases, along with a set of paint markers and embellishments to keep — generously provided by our friends at Taller de Rafa.
This event is part of our Dominicano Soy exhibition and community celebration.
