About this Event
Partnerships for Inclusion of Neurodiversity in Schools (PINS)
The second Parent Engagement event is open to all Parent Carers at the school. This session will take place at the school.
Look out for school’s communication for this session sent out to all parents/carers - there is no need to book a place to attend.
This project aims to increase inclusivity in mainstream primary schools for students who are Neurodivergent – this term covers a wide range of brain types including Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, DCD, FASD, and many more. 13 of these schools are in South Gloucestershire.
Parents and Carers are a key element of this project and as your local Parent Carer Forum, SGPC will be sharing the feedback from the first engagement session and the plan of support going forward for the school for Neurodivergent students and the school to increase their inclusivity.
Join us to learn about what we found out and the plan of support for further developing these areas:
- Increasing inclusivity for Neurodiverse students
- Supporting Mental Health and wellbeing
- Supporting Learning and attendance
- Improving the classroom environment
