Step 1 – Select your perfect pumpkin or gourd.
Step 2 – Conceptualize your idea, and the inspiration behind your work of art.
Step 3 – Choose your medium (latex paint, spray paint, permanent marker, decoupage...). Do NOT carve your pumpkin!
Step 4 – Bring your pumpkin vision to fruition!
Step 5 – Register at pinkn.org (available NOW). Be sure to name your entry & include the inspiration behind it.
Step 6 – Upload a picture of your entry (must use a pen or pencil in photo to set scale & indicate size). All entries must be submitted no later than 11:59pm on Tuesday 09/30.
Step 7 – SHARE SHARE SHARE YOUR UNIQUE ENTRY NUMBER TO START GETTING THOSE VOTES!
Step 8 - Come on down to the Garage Bar and Grill in Downtown Grand Rapids for the Pinkn’ Prize party on Wednesday 10/01!

PUBLIC VOTING PROCESS
Public voting will be tallied through Venmo. Each Venmo donation/vote must indicate the artists unique entry number in the comment section of the Venmo transfer.
To be eligible for ANY prize the entry must receive at least one (Venmo/$1) vote. Party starts at 4pm, and goes until close.
All voting ends at 6pm. Winners announced at 8pm!
Winners need not be present to win.

RULES & GUIDELINES
• The color pink MUST be incorporated into the design.
• Pumpkins must NOT be carved. Decoupage and other design elements that do not penetrate the skin of the pumpkin are allowed. The stem may be penetrated for adornment.
• Entries that are carved, have scarred, or penetrated skin are subject to disqualification.
• If you’re unsure or have questions please contact us at [email protected].
• Contestants must supply their own pumpkin or gourd (shape must resemble a traditional pumpkin. Any color is permissible).
• Pumpkins are NOT required to be perfectly shaped. Misshaped pumpkins, or gourds with warts ARE permissible).
• Contestants are responsible for their own decorating supplies.
• Latex paint is preferred (environmentally friendly), but permanent markers, spray paint, decoupage, and other means of decorating are acceptable.
• Any size pumpkin or gourd is acceptable.
• All ages are welcome (two age groups: 14 yo and under, 15 yo and older).
• No offensive, leud, pornographic, racial, disparaging, off color, or politically charged entries (Pinkn’ Prize has the sole right to deny any entry). This is a judgement free zone, Pinkn’ Patch supports everybody!
• All entries will be donated to Pinkn’ Prize for use at their discretion.
ª All entries must be submitted no later than 11:59pm on Tuesday 09/30.
• Pinkn’ Prize moderators will select approximately 100 finalists to be displayed at Garage Bar downtown at the winners announcement and party.
• Top prize winners will be displayed, and auctioned off at our A.K. Rikk’s (10/5), and Wildwood Family Farms (10/13) fundraising events. Each entry/artist selected for display at Pinkn’ Patch events will have the option of including their name, and professional contact information.
• A minimum of 100 entries are required for full payout of cash prizes. <100 entries will result in a diminished cash prize pool by 50%.
• All non-cash prizes will be awarded regardless of the number of entries.
• Each contestant is responsible for following directions, and uploading their entry into our contest link.

PICKUP & DROPOFF INSTRUCTIONS:
• Pumpkin drop off at 2306 Burchard St SE, EGR, 49506 (residential neighborhood). More drop-off locations will be added as they become available. If you do not have transportation to drop-off location please email info@pinkn and we will work something out. We want everybody to have fun, and be counted!
• Pinkn’ Prize is NOT associated with Art Prize. This is a fundraising event to benefit the Pinkn’ Patch Initiative (a 501c3 nonprofit organization).
• All proceeds from the event will go to the Pinkn’ Patch Initiative.
• Pinkn’ Patch is a 100% volunteer run organization.
