The Great Plains Tribal Leaders Health Board presents "Pink-Up the Pace: Breast Cancer Memorial Walk/Run" in honor of Every Woman. This event aims to raise awareness about breast cancer, the second most common cause of cancer death among American Indian/Alaska Native women. Join us on September 21, 2024, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the East Entrance of Oyate Health Center in Rapid City, SD, for a 2K walk to support the fight against breast cancer.Registration starts at 8:30 AM, and the walk will officially begin at 9:00 AM. The first 50 participants to register will receive a goodie bag. Don't forget to wear pink and show your support!
This event is a great opportunity to come together as a community, honor those affected by breast cancer, and promote health awareness.
