Widows Sons Masonic Riders Association annual Pink Ribbon Ride in conjunction with Freemasons Victoria, Monash Gully District #114. Raising money for the Think Pink Foundation Victoria, the 8th year running.
The group meeting point is at the Waverley Masonic Centre, 318-322 Stephensons Rd, Mount Waverley at 8:00 am. Our Hosts Monash Gully District #114 provide an incredible breakfast for only a $20 cover charge. Breakfast typically includes bacon, eggs, toast, sausages, tomatoes, cereals and fruits. Tea and coffee are also provided. The lodge room will be open to enjoy with a host available to take questions. As always expect a lot of fun with raffles and auctions, supporting the Think Pink Foundation Victoria. Last year $3,000 was raised on the day with an added $14,000 contribution from Freemasons Victoria, these monies went towards synthetic hairpieces for those suffering from cancer.
Get ready to achieve greater success this year as we strive to exceed our previous totals amassing almost $15,000! However, this goal cannot be achieved without your generosity, so please donate generously to a remarkable cause.
At 11 am we will be heading to Yarra Valley Grand Hotel in Yarra Glen for lunch, led by Widows Sons. We are heading through very scenic areas including Warrandyte and Christmas Hills.
Pre meet spots:
- West meet point: Princes FWY BP inbound near Little River.
6:30 am Meet with stands up at 7:00 am (1 hr to Waverley Masonic Centre)
- East meet point: Princes FWY BP inbound at Officer.
7:00 am Meet with stands up at 7:30 am (30 mins to Waverly Masonic Centre)
- South meet point: Eastlink BP inbound/Northbound, Scoresby.
7:15 am Meet with stands up at 7:45 am (15 mins to Waverley Masonic Centre)
Being a charity ride, feel free to dress up yourself, and your bike in the colour PINK. Support as best possible by being involved with raffles, auctions and donations. Remember this is a fun, safe ride with many in attendance, bring the family and friends, and cars to follow behind the bikes.
