Join us at The Baker’s Lab at 5-12 Dessert for an intimate cake decorating experience in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month and breast cancer survivors. This special edition of our luxury workshops will take place on Saturday, October 18, 2025, as part of our Survivor Saturday initiative.
What to Expect
✨ Hands-On Decorating: Learn to decorate your very own 5" single-tier pink frosted cake with buttercream techniques, and breast cancer inspired accents
✨ Guided Instruction: Chef Tai will demonstrate step-by-step techniques to help you create a cake that’s chic, meaningful, and photo-ready.
✨ Food & Drinks: Enjoy pink sweets and specialty cocktails/mocktails while you decorate.
✨ Giveback: A portion of every ticket supports the Side-Out Foundation, funding breast cancer research and awareness initiatives.

Important Details:
- Supplies: All decorating supplies and equipment will be provided including pink aprons to wear during class
- Early Bird Pricing: Take advantange of super early bird and early bird tiered pricing options. The earlier you book the more your save!
- # of Participants: There is a minimum of 4 attendees required. In the event of low participation, a full refund will be issued (minus any non-refundable Eventbrite fees)
- Experience duration: This is a hands-on experience. Depending on the flow and the speed of the attendees the decorating time could run a little overtime.
- Cancellations: All cancellations must be made within 7 days of event. Eventbrite fees may be non-refundable. If for some reason you need to cancel after the 7-day period, please reach out as a credit can be issued for a future experience or workshop. Credits will not be issued for any cancellation requests made less than 72 hours before class date.

- Bachelor degree in Baking & Pastry Arts from Johnson & Wales University
- Master degree in Business Administration from Johnson & Wales University
- Florence University of the Arts / Florence, Italy Study Abroad
- Former High School Baking & Pastry Arts Teacher
- Over 10 years as a business owner and over 15 years’ experience in the baking industry
