Pink Chilli in a Bowl – People, Places, Food
Pink Chilli in a Bowl is an invitation to the curious explorer to venture beyond the surface of Singapore's urban landscape through 28 constellations. Each constellation–composed of a network of local establishments, architectural landmarks and places of worship—can be described as a sensual voyage, enriched by the art of everyday eateries and a multifaceted street culture. Unveil hidden links between seemingly disparate and diverse spaces that showcase a lesser-known humanistic side of an automated nation.
Discover intriguing hidden gems with speakers Isabelle Der Hagopian and Manuel Der Hagopian as they reveal untold stories behind some of Singapore's individuals, locales and culinary delights.
The programme will be conducted at Programme Room 2, Basement 1 (inside Central Public Library), National Library Building.
