About this Event
Casting all teen roles for a play to be performed this black history month. "Pinder's Kids," is based on the true story of a youth pastor's nonviolent movement toward desegregation here in Orange County, Florida in the 1960s. Teens cast will play back the experiences of real Jones High School students who staged sit-ins to advocate for racial justice during the civil rights era.
All experience levels are welcome to participate. All interested will be cast, but not necessarily cast in their preferred role. Please register if interested to participate and you will receive a welcome email with details on next steps. Note: Must be a resident of Orange County, FL.
