About this Event
In this hands-on workshop, you'll explore the technique of pinched pottery, creating your own handmade mug to take home at a later date.
Tickets include one drink from the cafe, clay and hand building materials, instruction, firing and glazing fees.
Our instructor, Audrey, will demonstrate the fundamentals for building a pinched mug and provide the guidance you need along the way. From there, you can freely create to shape your final piece.
No prior experience is needed—just bring your curiosity. Whether you make it a date night or just come to try something new, this is an opportunity to explore, connect, and create. We recommend wearing comfortable clothes that can get messy.
The café will be open, offering drinks and light bites to enjoy during the workshop.

Details for pickup: After the workshop, your finished pieces will be bisque fired, clear glazed, fired one more, and ready for pick up in ~3 weeks. Once ready, an email will be sent with pickup details. Pieces can be collected at Rebel Coffee during business hours 6:30 AM - 2:30 PM. If you’re unable to make it at that time, please reach out to [email protected] to arrange an alternative pickup. Your pieces will be food safe, non-toxic, and non-hazardous.
The Nature of Handmade: While it’s rare, pieces may crack during the drying or firing process. This is part of creating something handmade. If it happens, we’re so sorry and hope you still enjoy the process and the time spent creating 🤍
