The holiday season is upon us, and what better way to spread love and warmth than by supporting our brave troops deployed overseas? ?❤️
We're thrilled to invite you to our "Project Pillowcase" event, where we'll come together to create cozy pillowcases that will be included in Christmas care packages for our servicemen and women far from home. Organized and hosted by Broadway Christian Church.
? Date: June 8 and June 22, 2023
? Time: 9am to Noon
? Location: Broadway Christian Church, 187 N Broadway, Lexington KY 40507
This event is a fantastic opportunity for all ages to get involved in a heartwarming cause. Whether you're a sewing expert or a beginner, your help is invaluable! Materials will be provided, so all you need to bring is your holiday spirit and enthusiasm. (Unless you want to bring some fabric too!)
But the real joy comes from knowing that each pillowcase we create will bring comfort and a touch of home to our troops who can't be with their families during this special time of year.
Let's come together as a community to show our appreciation and spread the holiday spirit.
If you can't attend but still want to contribute, we welcome donations of materials or funds to support our mission.
